New Varistors
Bourns BVRA1812 Automotive-Grade Low-Voltage Varistors offer a working voltage range of 14VDC to 100VDC and a current range of 400A to 800A in an EIA 1812 package size. These surface-mount varistors are specifically engineered for use in automotive circuits requiring surge protection, and the improved energy volume distribution and power dissipation deliver excellent transient energy absorption. These compact devices are AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant, lead free, and meet the IEC 61000-4-5 standard. Bourns BVRA1812 Automotive-Grade Low-Voltage Varistors operate in a -40°C to +125°C temperature range and provide a quick <1ns response time. The series is ideal for applications such as power supplies, motor/inductive load transient suppression, and CAN-, LIN-, and FlexRay-based modules.
