Tinkerforge offers a hardware platform of stackable microcontroller building blocks (Bricks) that can control different modules (Bricklets). The modules are pluggable and they have an intuitive API that works with a wide variety of programming languages. Tinkerforge's non-embedded programming approach eliminates many of the typical requirements and limitations of conventional application development. Tinkerforge uses only open source tools and makes their source codes, circuit diagrams, and layouts freely available, in the belief that customers should be able to understand and change products they bought.

One bipolar stepper motor with a 1.6A(max) and a 46Vmax per phase can be controlled.
The direction, velocity, and acceleration of the connected motor can be controlled using API.
Can be used to extend the features of Bricks by measuring temperature with Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors.
Houses a 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, and works as an inertial measurement unit.
