Microchip Technology ATWINC15x0 SmartConnect IoT Modules
Microchip ATWINC15x0 SmartConnect IoT Modules are compact, single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi® network controllers, optimized for low-power Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The module has an option of printed antenna or a micro co-ax (u.FL) connector for an external antenna. The ATWINC15x0 module also integrates a power amplifier, LNA, switch, and power management, which results in small form factor (21.7mm x 14.7mm x 2.1mm) architecture.
The module is interoperable with other vendors' 802.11 b/g/n access points in wireless LAN, leading to seamless roaming capabilities and advanced security. SPI ports are available on the module to interface with a host controller.
