C0G Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET C0G Commercial Grade 10VDC to 250VDC Surface-Mount Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (SMD MLCCs) feature a 125°C maximum operating temperature and are considered stable. These MLCCs feature a Class I material that exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage. KEMET C0G Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs offer a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C. These temperature-compensating MLCCs are ideal for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required.

Ceramic Capacitors

KEMET Ceramic Capacitors provide solutions for commercial, automotive, industrial, energy, and defense and aerospace applications. These devices feature Class I, Class II, and Class III dielectrics and several form factors, including surface mount, through hole, and lead attach. Commercial Grade Class I DIELECTRICS ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial Grade CLASS I Dielectric SMD ≤250V MLCCs (SMD MLCCs) feature a 125°C maximum operating temperature and are considered stable.  Commercial Grade SMD MLCCs feature a Class I material that exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage. This series also boasts a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/ºC from -55°C to +125°C. These KEMET temperature-compensating MLCCs are ideal for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required. AEC-Q200-qualified capacitors are available.

High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC)

KEMET High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are a preferred capacitance solution, offering tremendous performance, reliability, and cost advantages for circuit designers. Ceramics are non-polar devices that offer unsurpassed volumetric efficiency, delivering high capacitance in small package sizes. Available in a wide range of sizes, KEMET High CV MLCCs offer very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), exhibit excellent high-frequency characteristics, and are very reliable. MLCCs are monolithic devices that consist of laminated layers of specially formulated ceramic dielectric materials interspersed with a metal electrode system. The layered formation is then fired at a high temperature to produce a sintered and volumetrically efficient capacitance device. A conductive termination barrier system is integrated into the exposed ends of the chip to complete the connection. 

Commercial ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial ≤250V MLCCs offer various form factors, dielectrics, case sizes, up to 250VDC voltage, and capacitance values to give designers solutions for every possible application. These MLCCs from KEMET are available in C0G, U2J, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U dielectrics with capacitance values up to 100uF and case sizes ranging from EIA 0201 to 2225. Form factors include two-terminal surface-mount MLCCs, arrays, axial, and radial leaded termination options, including those with Sn and SnPb terminations.

KEMET Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs offer a wide variety of dielectrics, case sizes, voltages, and capacitance values, giving designers solutions for every possible application. These MLCCs are available in C0G, U2J, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U dielectrics with capacitance values up to 100uF and case sizes ranging from EIA 0201 to 2225. These capacitors are Lead (Pb)-free, RoHS, and REACH compliant without exemption.

High CV MLCCs

KEMET has expanded its High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) in X7R dielectric. Recent design and manufacturing technology innovations have led to significant increases in capacitance in EIA 0805 through 1812 case sizes and rated voltages of 500VDC, 630VDC, and 1000VDC. KEMET maximum capacitance offerings are now up to seven times greater than those previously available. Typical applications include switch-mode power supplies (input filters, resonators, tank circuits, snubber circuits, output filters), high voltage coupling and DC blocking, lighting ballasts, voltage multiplier circuits, DC/DC converters, and coupling capacitors in Cuk converters.
